Outdoor Grill with Oven: How we Built our DREAM Outdoor Kitchen

I had an incredible experience building this outdoor grill with oven during our backyard kitchen installation! Undoubtedly, it was one of the most enjoyable do-it-yourself projects I have ever undertaken. I am greatly impressed by the oven's ability to retain heat and its longevity in doing so. Last night, when I ignited it, the surface temperature reached approximately 850 degrees after just one hour. After a couple of hours, when the fire had completely burned down to ash and only a few glowing embers remained, the temperature inside still hovered around 700 degrees. I checked on the oven six hours later and found that it was still maintaining a temperature of around 450 degrees despite not having any fire or embers present for seven hours straight. In the morning, a solid fifteen hours after removing all embers, the oven was still hovering around 200 degrees. Our outdoor grill with oven remodel was money well spent!
