BrickWood Ovens Shipping Policy

BrickWood Ovens pizza oven kits are shipped from Lynden, WA. It’s a small border town on the tip-top left corner of the United States… a stones-throw from Canada. And when we do throw stones at the Canadians, they usually apologize when we hit one of ‘em. They are so polite!

Refractory & Bagged Materials such as Ceramic Fiber Blanket, Fire Brick, Refractory Mortar, Castable Refractory Cement, etc., are shipped from our refractory partners closest to your jobsite / location. This helps keep our prices low and provides the fastest possible delivery.

FedEx Ground Shipping:

BrickWood Ovens ships all US orders via FedEx Ground. We do not offer Overnight, 2-Day, Express, UPS or USPS delivery. In addition, we do not offer local pick-up or Will-Call service.

Porch Piracy / Stolen or Missing Packages:

All orders from BrickWood Ovens are shipped via FedEx Ground while Ceramic Fiber Blankets are shipped via UPS Ground.  Each box in your order is scanned upon delivery - which includes a Date / Time stamp and location drop off point.  Under NO circumstances is BrickWood Ovens responsible for any packages that are missing (or stolen) that have been scanned & recorded as delivered to the Ship-To address provided in your order.  To decrease the likelihood of being a Porch Pirate victim, it is best to have your order shipped to your business / work address.

Freight Shipping:

We do not have control over the arrival day or time, but you will receive a phone call from the freight forwarder the day before your pallet(s) arrival so you can make delivery arrangements. For this reason, it is critical to provide the most relevant phone number during check out. Our freight includes free curbside delivery and liftgate service. Upon delivery, the driver will remove the item from the truck, but it is the customer's responsibility to bring the item onto the property.

Customers are required to sign for freight delivery, so be sure to inspect the item before accepting delivery. Any damage present upon arrival MUST BE ANNOTATED when accepting the delivery. BrickWood Ovens LLC is not liable for damages that were failed to be noted at time of delivery.

Canada: Once you have added all the items you want to purchase to your cart, simply enter your Canadian “Ship-To” address and click on “Update” and you will see the updated cost of shipping to Canada. We try to keep the costs as LOW as possible, but those taxes, duties, customs fees, etc… are beyond our control.

For the lucky 75% of Canadians that live 100 miles (160 kilometers) from the US border, you can save hundreds of dollars by having your DIY wood-fired pizza oven kit from BrickWood Ovens shipped directly to a US based parcel / package facility near your home. Simply reach out to any of the locations shown below and inquire about their incoming shipping rules prior to ordering from BrickWood Ovens. USA / Canada Border - Parcel & Package Pick-up Locations.

Hawaii & Guam: We ship to Hawaii and Guam via Dependable Hawaiian Express, a low-fee freight forwarder based in Seattle that makes weekly sailings between Seattle and Hawaii / Guam. Click here for more information about shipping to Hawaii & Guam.

Caribbean Countries: Believe it or not, we ship a lot of pizza oven kits to the Caribbean!  We can ship your order to Blue Ocean Transport - a freight forwarder in Miami, FL that makes weekly sailings between Miami and several Caribbean locations & the Virgin Islands. They can forward your pizza oven kit to your tropical destination for a nominal fee.  Click here for more information about shipping to Caribbean countries.

APO / FPO / DPO: We are unable to ship to APO / FPO / DPO addresses at this time.

Everybody Else: We are unable to ship the BrickWood Ovens products outside of the continental United States & Canada due to the insanely high cost of international shipping. Our oven kits come in very large boxes, so shipping these large kits overseas has become very, very expensive… therefore, we discontinued international shipping at this time.
